Hallal

"Hallal" is a derivative of "halal" which is one of several Hebrew words used for praise. It means to shine, flash forth light, to praise, to boast and glory. It is a word that defines praise to God with full abandon, loud voice and great excitement. That pretty well describes the heart of what Hallal Music has been about since its beginning.

Current News

There are MANY changes going on in the ministry of Hallal Music. Hallal Music relocated to Franklin, TN nearly two years ago. At a time when there was a growing need for Hallal to expand facilities, increase support staff and access technical and creative resources, God opened up an opportunity to move right into the heart of where contemporary Christian music has had its roots.

Within the year the reorganization of Hallal should be complete with the addition of several other related ministries, all under the direction of Hallal Music. The Fourth Avenue Church of Christ in Franklin, where Ken serves as Worship Minister, is partnering with Hallal during this time of transition.

The dream is to see God take this ministry to even greater levels of effectiveness in reaching out to a hurting and dying world.

Events like Stream in the Desert will continue to be a vital part of this work. There are even plans to expand this event to a second location in Nashville. Check back for updated information. Please pray for the continued success of these efforts.
